Mr. Aaron

Hi-Lo! My name is Aaron Lanier - or "Mr. Aaron" to the students. I teach Special Ed Elevate and Strive English, Reading, and Social Studies.

I grew up here in Plano and graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 2010. I started college at Collin College in Fall 2010 and transferred in 2012 to UT Dallas, where I graduated in 2015 with a degree in Literary Studies with a teaching certificate.

After about a year of subbing around the district, I realized not only that Plano ISD was where I wanted to teach, but also that my passion was in Special Education.

This is my eighth year of teaching, and I am super excited to be a long-time member of the Shepton family.
