Hello! I am on year 29 of teaching. I have been teaching at Shepton since 2022. I have a graduate degree in Secondary Education from Texas Tech. I am from Lubbock but have taught in the Dallas area since 1997! In my free time I enjoying reading, movies, and traveling (especially near the ocean).

I have been teaching at Shepton High School since 2013. My husband and I moved to Plano in 2012, and both our son and daughter graduated from Plano ISD schools.
I hold a B.A. from the University of Kansas and an M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Before earning my teaching certification in Social Studies and English, I worked in advertising, client services, and college admissions. I also spent time teaching and studying in China, an experience that continues to inform my perspective in the classroom.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, hiking, and birdwatching.
